Fiber Optic Collimator

Fiber Collimators are fundamental sub-components and building blocks for optical communications and broadband network, and are widely used to covert a divergent output laser beam from a fiber or waveguide into an expanding beam of parallel light. With Collimators, Fiber Optical Components for signal transmission, switching, and management can be furnished.

Koncent, the "one stop" supplier for all kinds of fiber optical sub-components, has provided a complete line of fiber collimators with proven the highest quality, the lowest manufacturing cost and volume production capacity. Koncent collimators are normally made of fiber pigtails and C-lenses, a family of preferred collimating lenses provided by Koncent and specially designed to meet the customers' requirements for next generation fiber optical components. G-Collimators or A-collimator made of traditional self-focusing grin-lenses or aspheric lenses are available as well.

Koncent's complete collimators manufacturing line covers single fiber, dual fiber, separated fiber, multi-fiber collimators, with the types of single mode fiber, multi-mode fibers, polarization maintaining fibers, 80mm fiber with small bending diameter, and other specialty fibers. Custom collimators designing to customer¢s specifications, such as dual fiber collimator with 50 mm separation or other special fiber separations, collimators with hermetically sealed design, can be provided upon request.
